When should I change audio settings?
Start with the default values. Change audio settings only when you have a specific symptom or device requirement. For example, a weaker device may need a lower sample rate or a larger buffer to reduce stuttering.
Settings by purpose
Audio quality
Sample rate and interpolation affect audio detail and processing load.
Stuttering or dropouts
Try a larger buffer or a lower quality profile before changing advanced values.
Audio mode
AudioWorklet is designed for low-latency processing; AudioContext is a more stable alternative on some devices.
Effects
Chorus and reverb shape the mix. Increase them gradually because effects can add processing work.
MIDI Output
Use this tab when you want to send MIDI events to an external MIDI device instead of relying only on the internal synth.
