Prepare Import ZIP Files with Karaoke Packer · Next Karaoke

This step must come before Import ZIP

Choose the input and output folders

Open Karaoke Packer and locate the Source Folder field.

Click the folder button beside Source Folder and select the root folder that contains the karaoke files.

Click the folder button beside Destination Folder and select an output folder with enough free space.

The format strip shows the source file groups and ZIP as the output. Do not select the same folder for input and output if you want to keep the source library unchanged.

Review optional settings

Click the gear button to open Settings.

Max Part Size controls the approximate size of each ZIP part. The default is 500 MB.

Threads controls parallel processing. Auto (Max) lets the program choose the maximum available setting.

Compression Level ranges from 0 to 22. Level 0 is fastest with storage only, level 1 is the default, and level 22 is the slowest with maximum compression. Click Done to close Settings.

Packing progress and output

Start packing and continue in Next Karaoke

Click Start Packing. If either folder is missing, the program asks you to select both the source and destination folders.

Follow the progress percentage, status text, and SHOW LOG area while the program scans and packages the songs.

When packing finishes, open the destination folder and confirm that the ZIP parts were created.

Return to the Import ZIP page, enable compressed song library mode, select the ZIP parts, and click Import.

Do not close the packer while it is running

Packing may take a long time for a large library. Wait until the status indicates completion before using the ZIP output.
